Today, I am profoundly grateful to God for so much: for my life, for my sweet and loving family, for my dear friends, both old and new, and for all of the people who prayed for our victory, who worked for our success, and who supported us along the way, both financially, and with influence and other resources. We had a good day yesterday. Thank you all so much!
The Texas Secretary of State is now reporting that, with 94% of polling places reporting, and a total of 10,786,479 votes counted so far, we are winning with 54.95% of the vote!
It has been the greatest honor of my career to serve this Great State for the last six years as your Judge in Place 4 on the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals. With the Grace of God, I look forward to doing so again, with the same commitment: to faithfully execute the duties of the office and, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and of this State.
Thank you, again, to all who helped to bring us to this point on the journey. Please continue to pray for me, for our other political and moral leaders, for each other, and for our State and Country. May God give us strength, courage, and wisdom to help one another, may He see us all through every challenge we face in this life, and may He always fill our spirits with peace.
